Step 1 — Download CricAuction App on Android
The CricAuction app is available for free on the Google Play Store. It takes under a minute to install and is available across all Android devices.
Tap the Play Store icon from your home screen or app drawer.
Type CricAuction Cricket Auction — look for the red cricket ball logo by CricAuction. Or click the direct link from cricauction.live.
The app is ~35MB and installs in about 30–60 seconds on a standard Wi-Fi connection. No payment required to install.
Tap Open from the Play Store or find the CricAuction icon on your home screen.
Make sure your Android device has at least 100MB free storage before downloading. The app runs smoothly on Android 6.0 and above.
Step 2 — Download CricAuction App on iPhone (iOS)
CricAuction is also available on the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad users. It's a free download (version 5.7, ~45MB).
Tap the App Store icon — the blue icon with the white "A".
Tap the Search tab at the bottom and type CricAuction. Select the app by Deep Jerajbhai Davara / Fanspole Online Solutions.
The app will download and install automatically. Tap Open once done.

Step 3 — Register & Log Into Your CricAuction Account
Once the app is open, you'll need to create a free account. This is quick — no lengthy forms, no credit card needed.
- Tap Register / Login on the welcome screen
- Enter your mobile number and verify with OTP
- Set a display name (this appears in your auction dashboard)
- You are now logged in — your dashboard is ready
- You can also log in at app.cricauction.live from any browser on desktop or mobile
CricAuction works on both the mobile app and web browser — so your co-organiser can manage the auction on a laptop while you handle the mobile view at the venue.
Step 4 — Create Your First Cricket Auction
This is where the magic starts. Creating an auction on CricAuction takes under 5 minutes. Follow these steps:
From your home screen in the app, tap the + Create Auction button.
- Auction Name (e.g., "Surat Premier League 2026")
- Sport Type — Cricket, Football, Kabaddi, Volleyball & more
- Auction Date & Time
- Select your plan (Free for up to 3 teams; paid plans from ₹1,999)
Your auction is now created! You'll receive a unique Auction Code that teams and viewers can use to join.
CricAuction Pricing Plans (Quick Overview)
| Plan | Teams | Price | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plan 1 | Up to 3 | FREE | Trial / Small Friends League |
| Plan 2 | Up to 4 | ₹ 1,999 | Small Club Tournaments |
| Plan 3 | Up to 6 | ₹ 2,499 | Society / Colony Leagues |
| Plan 4 | Up to 8 | ₹ 2,999 | Club-Level Tournaments |
| Plan 5 | Up to 12 | ₹ 3,999 | District-Level Leagues |
| Plan 6 | Up to 16 | ₹ 4,999 | IPL-Style Premier Leagues |
| Plan 7 | Up to 20 | ₹ 5,999 | Large Multi-Team Events |
| Plan 8 | Up to 30 | ₹ 6,999 | State / National Events |
Step 5 — Add Teams to Your Auction
Every auction needs teams. Adding them is straightforward and each team gets its own identity in the live auction view.
From the auction dashboard, tap Add Auction Team.
- Team Name — e.g., "Surat Strikers"
- Short Code / Shortcut Key — e.g., "SS" (used for quick bid entry during live auction)
- Team Logo — optional but makes the auction look professional on screen
- Auction Budget — the total coins/amount each team can spend
Add all your teams before starting the auction. You can also invite admins to manage their own team during the live bid using the Admin Invite feature.
Assign a unique shortcut key to each team (like "MI", "CSK", "RCB"). During the live auction, the auctioneer can press these keys to quickly assign bids — saving massive time when the bidding gets fast!
Step 6 — Add Players & Import via Excel
Players are the heart of any cricket auction. CricAuction gives you two ways to add them — one by one, or in bulk via Excel import.
Option A — Add Players Manually
- Tap Add Player inside your auction
- Enter player name, role (Batsman / Bowler / All-Rounder / Wicket-Keeper), and base price
- Optionally add player stats, photo, and category (e.g., Local / Outstation / Overseas)
- Tap Save — repeat for all players
Option B — Bulk Import via Excel (Fastest Method)
- Download the CricAuction Excel template from the app
- Fill in all player details in the spreadsheet (name, role, base price, category)
- Upload the Excel file directly in the app — all players get added in one go
- Ideal for tournaments with 50+ players
Option C — Online Player Registration (Web Link)
- Share your tournament's player registration link with players
- Players fill in their own details online — no manual entry needed
- All registered players appear in your auction panel automatically
Use the Excel bulk import if you have more than 20 players. What would take 45 minutes manually takes under 5 minutes with a spreadsheet upload.
Step 7 — Set Bidding Rules & Auction Settings
Before you go live, configure the rules of your cricket player auction. This is what separates a professional auction from a chaotic one.
- Base Price — the minimum starting bid for each player (can be set per-player or globally)
- Bid Increment — how much each bid goes up (e.g., ₹100 or 10 coins per bid)
- Player Limit per Team — max players a team can buy (e.g., 15 players per team)
- Auction Mode — choose Random, Manual (organiser picks order), or Category-wise (batsmen first, then bowlers, etc.)
- Unsold Players — decide if unsold players go back into the pool for another round
Step 8 — Start the Live Cricket Auction
Everything is set — teams are in, players are loaded, rules are configured. It's time to go live! Here's how the live auction bidding works in CricAuction:
The first player appears on screen with their base price, photo, and stats.
Team owners tap the Bid Button or the auctioneer presses the shortcut key to assign bids. Every bid updates instantly for all viewers.
When no higher bid comes in, the player is sold to the highest bidder. The team's budget automatically deducts. Move to the next player.
The auction screen shows all teams' remaining budgets and player counts in real-time — no manual tracking needed.
Save budget for the last 30% of the auction — that's where the best value players usually appear. Check out our full CricAuction bidding tips guide to dominate your next auction.
Step 9 — Share Live View Link & Display on Projector
One of CricAuction's most powerful features — your auction can be watched live by anyone, anywhere, without them needing the app.
Share Live Auction Link with Fans & Players
- From the auction panel, tap Share Link
- Copy the link and share on WhatsApp, Telegram, or any group
- Anyone with the link can watch real-time bids in a browser — no app needed
Show the Auction on a Projector or TV Screen
- Open the Live Auction View / Projector View link on a laptop or Smart TV
- Connect the laptop to a projector or TV via HDMI
- Choose from multiple Live Auction Themes for a stadium-style display
- Add it as a YouTube Live Overlay if you're streaming the auction online
Step 10 — Choose the Right Plan for Your Tournament

- Free Plan — up to 3 teams, all core features included, perfect for friends/trials
